The DAG Sheep Station is proud to present the 2022 autumn Singer Songwriters Retreat

The Singer/Songwriters Retreat has been designed to give established artists a place to meet and grow creatively. Whether you are looking to improve your songwriting, performance skills, creative flow or market presence, this retreat is for you.

Our program allows artists to intimately work with prominent songwriters, and well known established artists and musicians. This retreat will focus on; songwriting, recording, artist development, collaboration, stage presence and so much more!

Anyone who wants to further express their talents and hone their skills, will greatly benefit from attending this amazing event.

2022 retreat costs 

*$1000  - Full Retreat (shared accommodation) **Available**

*$1200  - Full Retreat (private accommodation) - **Available **     

*As numbers are limited there may be a selection process required.

The full Retreat Includes

Accommodation x 4 nights, (linen included) - Thursday 14th till Monday 18th (Starts Thursday 2pm, Concludes Monday 10am)

All meals | Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Morning and Afternoon teas.

Workshops, breakout sessions, collaboration time, one on one tuition, performance opportunities and a chance to learn and engage Music, Songwriting and Tuition from a selected few current top professional Singer/Songwriters from Australia.

A chance to be a part of a select group of Singer/Songwriter's aspiring to develop their craft to move to the next level. Surrounded by supportive peers, Country Music Professionals and the opportunity to network and to continually be a part of this great event.

The DAG Sheep Station & APRA / AMCOS are proud to announce two artists who have or will receive a Scholarship to attend the 2020 Singer Songwriters Retreat.

NEW ZEALAND SCHOLARSHIP - JAYDIN SHINGLETON (Wesport NZ) was announced the Winner of the 2020 DAG Sheep Station Scholarship at New Zealand's 2019 Gold Guitars, held in Gore, NZ. Brayden was chosen as the Winner, for Songwriters Category and will recieve the opportunity to attend The 2020 Singer Songwriters Retreat and perform during Hats Off To Country shows at The DAG. The Scholarship includes, Return Airfares from NZ to Tamworth, all accommodation, transfers and meals.

INDIGENOUS ARTIST FROM REGIONAL NSW - Thanks to APRA AMCOS Australia, an indegenous artist from Regional NSW will be selected by Buddy Knox to receive, The Buddy Knox Scholarship and the opportunity to attend The 2019 Singer Songwriters Retreat and perform during Hats Off To Country shows at The DAG. The 2019 recipient was LOGAN HOSWELL from Tamworth, NSW
